Built on Hard Work.
Run on Integrity.

Deglan Hydrovac Ltd. was founded with one goal in mind: to be the kind of company clients can actually count on.

Not just for the job in front of them, but for every project down the road.

Construction workers and heavy machinery, including vacuum trucks and excavators, working on a road excavation site with a painted mural in the background.

Our Story

We're a family-owned, Langley-based hydrovac company serving the Lower Mainland and all of BC.

We launched in 2024 with a commitment to do things differently — show up when we say we will, charge what we said we'd charge, and treat every job site with the care and professionalism it deserves.

Today we run a fleet of four trucks, a team of experienced operators, and a reputation built on being straight with people. We're not the biggest company in BC, but we're the one that picks up the phone.

A white truck with a large vacuum tank, labeled 'DEGLAN HYDROVAC LTD,' parked in front of a yellow building with large glass windows and a sign that reads 'TAP & BRIDGES.' The area is cordoned off with orange and black barricades.

Meet the Owners, Alf & Dayna

Deglan Hydrovac is a family business, run by a husband and wife who started it in 2024 with one simple promise: show up, do it right, and stand behind the work. Alf leads the field side and Dayna runs the office, so whether you’re a client or a member of our crew, you’re always dealing directly with an owner.

Outside of work, family comes first for both of us. We bring the same integrity and accountability home that we bring to every job. As Deglan grows, our focus stays the same: a company where employees feel valued, clients feel confident, and our community benefits from the work we do.

Alf, Owner and CEO of Deglan Hydrovac

Alf

Owner & CEO

I lead Deglan Hydrovac with four core values: success, honesty, caring and determination. To me, success is a shared outcome that benefits our team, our clients and our community. Honesty means clear communication, realistic expectations and long-term trust. Caring means doing the right thing, delivering quality work and looking out for everyone on site. Determination means following through and getting the job done. My father taught me the value of hard work and continuous learning, and that still shapes how I lead every day.

Dayna, Co-Owner of Deglan Hydrovac

Dayna

Co-Owner, Operations & Administration

I run the business side of Deglan: invoicing, payroll, accounts and the paperwork that keeps our crew paid on time and our clients’ files in order. Before Deglan, I spent more than ten years in the equipment leasing industry, where I learned how much clear numbers and dependable follow-through matter to a growing business. I bring the same values to the office: straight answers, accurate invoices, and a team that’s treated fairly and with respect.
